Road Kill on Zaishu*
August 2005
MAKING IT, Sydney Design Week 2005, involved a two day workshop where the budding young artists from Odyssey House created artwork on panels that were transformed into Zaishu's. These artists were assisted by Mini Graff, who gave them tips on how to cut and apply stencils to the panels. A limited edition of 25 individual Zaishus were created.
The Zaishu were auctioned on Saturday 20th August, with all proceeds used to support Odyssey House. The auction was conducted by Andrew Shapiro. Guest artists were also invited to create their own Zaishu for the charity auction. Artists included Dinosaur Designs, Vogue Living, Trent Jansen and Mini Graff.
