'Graff's latest work was realised when she discovered that her credit card debt corresponded exactly with the average australian credit card debt of $3500...In response she turned her attention to credit card logo's themselves. Graff coins phrases or words in response to each credit card brand.
In this Suburban Roadhouse Series, the houses are both the roadside prop for the billboard and the very target site of consumption that these brands so completely invade. Not only are they a protest against the big money end of town, these works also protest against councils continuous and insidious ways of making our streets and habitats contraband for art. Graff takes a stand against complacency, with it's facade of polite and conforming streetscapes, she brandishes the sword of street art to speak out, wake up and illuminate our world.' - Barbara McConchie, October 2010 (PRINT BIG Catalogue)
