Mini Graff

Mini Graff is a street artist living and working in Darlinghurst.

For her current project, Darlinghurst Squared, Mini has fashioned a globe for Darlinghurst that captures the streets she works in. The Small Worlds globes are designed to encapsulate, in their form and scale, Darlinghurst's pocket sized environment, with its right angles, secret markings and bird's eye views that only locals can decode. All of it fitting into the palm of your hand.

The Darlinghurst Squared globes are hand-assembled wooden cubes tesselated with layers of intricate stencils derived from aerial photographs of Darlinghurst. The streets, our urban lines of latitude and longitude, have been left unmarked, but if you are familiar with an area you can identify the outlines of buildings and the crossings of intersections to orient and locate your own landmarks within the surface.
